Lars K. Jelgren brings over 35 years of financial services experience with particular focus on institutional investor relations and alternative investments in the Nordic markets.

Lars has built a proven track record in client coverage and business development, consistently creating value for both clients and mandators. His career spans leadership positions at global asset managers to specialized boutique managers, where he has been responsible for fundraising and investor relations across asset classes including Private Debt, CLO Equity, Timberland, and alternative investment strategies.

Most recently, Lars has served as European client coverage for several independent fund managers, responsible for investor relations to institutional clients in the Nordic markets and broader Europe. His success is built on a unique combination of deep understanding of institutional investor needs, strong senior-level relationships, and the ability to structure complex mandates.

During his 16-year career at Schroders as Head of Nordic Financial Institutions, Lars achieved significant results, including strategic partnerships with Nordea Bank and the SpareBank 1 group, as well as numerous substantial mandates within equity, emerging markets, and private equity fund-of-funds programs.

Lars is a strong relationship builder with an extensive network among Nordic pension funds, banks, asset managers, family offices, and wealth managers. He typically works at decision-maker level, where his primary contacts are “Head of” functions or C-suite members.
